Invoking Remesh Grid by R
key shows the density grid aligned to the global axis that’s closest to view. I’d like to remesh based on the actual view axis! Which makes sense in cases like the attached video.
Is it possible to do this?

You can parent it to an empty (or use an armature bone), rotate the empty to get the required alignment, remesh, and return to the original position.
And yes you could just rotate it, note the rotation angle and un-rotate again the same amount. Using the empty allows you to tweak the rotation several times but only have one number to return to zero to set the rotation back again.
Thanks. Ah, so there’s no quick built-in method for choosing view as the angle/axis for remeshing then.
Shall I rant about bloatware apps that have all kinds of bells and whistles that are doing simple things that only take a small effort to achieve…
One of Blenders foundational philosophies is keeping it simple. That is why it is still a small download compared to other apps. That is also why there are lots of addons
Have you looked here for a solution?

Or on Blender Market etc…
