Remesh an object but preserve the loose parts

Hello, i would like to remesh this mess , but i wanna keep the loose parts like this :

It was originally an svg image that i converted into mesh, i need a good topolgy to do an simple deform.

I tried remesh but it dosent preserve the loose parts.


(Done with a bigger voxel size for time reason)

I tried the modifier and kife project a grid on top

Any idea ?

try the modifier instead…

I tried but it cuts part of the map and if i apply the modifier it is not preserving loose parts
