Remove all Materials and UV maps from a scene

Hi there.

I have a 3D model that has been converted from .skp. Its textures are all (I think) applied as uv maps in blender. I need to use the model for a different project, but it needs to be uniformly red for that. Removing the uv maps (and possibly materials) individually is not feasable.

How to do it in one stroke? I’m sure if nothing else, it has to be possible via python at least (which, alas, I haven’t touched yet). But please, educate me

Thanks

Can somebody please move this thread to “Forum: Python Support”.

That of course changes the question to straight up ask: “How do I do it in python?”
