Remove douples corrupting the model

Hello,

When I use remove douples with my mesh it will corrupt the texture:

But the UVs are the same so I don’t know.

Somebody know how can I fix it ?

Post your blend file or at least some images about the UV map layout on the texture and where your doubles are and your topology, and your seams.

That’s why you should be fixing any mesh errors before you unwrap.
5 mins planning up front will save you 30+ mins fixing things later on

What are you doing? why do you have triangles all over the place? why when i remove double i got 233 vertices removed for that small mesh?. My advice start all over simple as possible and build it up slowly, and please upload your files somewhere safe (dropbox, pasteall.org, googledrive) seriously what are you doing?

where is the model from?-looks like a bad importer/exporter

Cloth might have had some thickness initially.
