I want to remove armatures that have grease pencil objects parented to said armature. However, removing the armature removes the grease pencil objects. I want to keep the grease pencil objects.

How do I remove the armatures while keeping the grease pencil objects?

What happens when unparent the grease-object?

Un-parent the GP objects, or remove the Armature Mod first…
