Be sure the Do Composite button is disabled. Also check to be sure that the two rows of buttons on the render layer tab match up with each other.
the light has to shine on something. Is your cube in the middle? Do you have a camera? Is the camera pointed at the cube or something?
I’ll try the first thing. But yes, I do have a camera pointing at my model, with a light pointed directly at it.
Is the lamp set to negative light? Probably not, but no ruling it out.
No those settings are fine. When I go to view, render preview, I can see my model ok. But if I
render the current frame from the render settings I get the black frame.
Might you post a blend? You can use 4shared.com or something like it, and paste the link by clicking the globe paperclip icon here. That’s going to save you time in the long run, if we can see the problem ourselves.
Hi. I have posted the blend file to this link. Still have’nt figured out whats wrong. Any help is appreciated. THank you.
Disable the Do Sequence button. You don’t have any sequences or scenes loaded into the sequence editor so when you render there is nothing loaded into the pipeline.
Thank goodness the Do Composite button is much more forgiving…
Thank you so much. This was driving me insane. I really appreciate it.
