I’m making some test renders and I noticed Blender is only using approx 30% of CPU. It’s a 4 core and I set 4 threads. (I’m using Blender internal engine)
When I make renders in Kerkythea I get 100% CPU usage.
Is a “run on background option” activated by default of something in Blender that prevents it to use full CPU?
I think only parts of the Blender Internal render engine are multi-threaded. Like reflections. I also noticed that the pre-pass is only single threaded as well.
