My shcool just got 25 new computers, each with a 2.4ghz dual core processor and 2gb of ram. That amount of power in one room obviously has me thinking about render farming. The question is, is there an “unintrusive” way of rendering across the network? Ideally I would not have to install something on each computer, but I don’t know if that’s possible…
I suggest you make friends with your school administrator / technician
I think lordcooper got point there.
what OS do the PC are working on any way?
yes you can render on networking. if I was not wrong there was news in blendernation on re-render elephant dream.
but that need work,
They’re all windows xp. Yes, I should make friends with the admin, but the real question is: what is the best software to use?
