Render looks different than model

I’m using Blenderkit’s “red wine” material. Is it the lighting? Is it the material? Could it be something I don’t know of? I’m still new to blender so I’m still learning, especially when it comes to rendering.

A large part of the look in the Material Preview mode comes from the reflections of the HDRI that’s used to light that viewport.

If your lighting setup, and general scene environment is simple, and doesn’t have anything to be reflected, then the final render will be more flat like you’re seeing.

So what would the solution be? More lighting?

You could use an HDRI yourself to light the scene.

Or put other objects in there too. Some sort of floor or background.
That way there will be things that can be reflected, or seen through the object if it has some transparency.

You can keep a transparent background, even if you do use an image as the environment.

This is going to be a sprite, so I assume HDRI is the better option?

Possibly. You could also try a few more lights.
That way you can move them around, and have control over the reflections.

See what some larger area lights do when you put them in.
