Render looks different when in edit mode

Is this odd to anyone else?

When I don’t display the subdivision modifier and render while in Edit Mode, it looks different from when I render in Object Mode (the intended appearance is the one on the left). I’m using six different UV maps for placing the different elements around the can, but I’m using the UV Node for all of them so it should not be a problem.

The use of the Subdivision modifier results in contraction.
You just need to add an edge.
Alternatively, use the Advanced option in the Subdivision modifier
