Hello! I have to render a lot of 360 panoramas of an interior with the same camera but each one with a different floortile. I was wondering if there is a way to just render the floor selecting it with the material. That way I won’t have to render the whole frame every time and I can just swap the floors in photoshop. So I want to render the floor of course with all the shadows and light interactions but only the floor. Ideally with an alpha channel. That would cut down my render times a lot! The only way I know how to do this is with crypto matte but then I still need to render the whole frame. So that won’t help me.
Assuming your panoramas are one object and your floor is a different object.
You can use the filter and add a render toggle. After clicking the filter (1) and hoovering your mouse over the icons, you’ll see one for rendering. Then you can toggle (2).
[EDIT]
Opps… missed the part about the shadows…
Maybe this will help…
