Render passes compositing and baking?

Hello,

with respect to new feautures in Blender I would like to ask for two specialised tutorials.

Please can someone post (or provide a link to) tutorials specialised on:
a) rendering in passes andpasses compositing
(something like this: http://www.thegnomonworkshop.com/tut…es_layers.html
or
http://neongod.waterscape.cc/calvina…mpositing.html
or
http://www.3drender.com/light/compositing/index.html
but specialised and detailed for Blender.

b) render baking mainly with advice how to use Ambnient Occlusion bake instead of real AO (i.e. fake AO)
(something like this one
http://www.3dallusions.com/index.php…30&Item id=75)

Thank you very much in advance:p

Thank you RogerWickes,

i dunno know what exactly you’re looking for regarding passes, but any of the CG forums discuss things you can do with each layer. For example, last night I was reading about photo-realism of making a hatch, http://www.blendernation.com/2007/02/10/hard-surface-texture-painting/ and he used the AO pass with a multiply mix to outline the edges to show him where to use a scratchy texture brush…all of these are easily doable in Blender. You wont find a site that applies all of the possibilities of CG using Blender; it’s more like you have to understand the concepts and then know/use Blender enough to know how to do it using Blender.
