Render preset thumbs freezes on Ubuntu

Hello,
I’m trying to install render preset thumbs, When I confirm it does not do anything.

I think it’s working. Look at something like system monitor.
Or: Start blender on the console an you see something like:

### RENDER THUMB ############################
Start generating: fence
Prepare camera
Prepare scene
### COMPLETED ############################

This is what I got:

$ blender
Read prefs: /home/<user>/.config/blender/2.92/config/userpref.blend
CAD Transform 0.91.0 : ready

Thank you. I was able to set up after running Blender from the terminal. But I don’t see any icon of the elements,
