After I do a few renders on a scene the render engine seems to lock up and I keep getting the same image over and over no matter what I do. I can delete the lights and the camera, push F12 and get the same image. Is anyone else having this problem or am I special again.
Hey, I have the same problems too…making a new scene and then appending all the objects seems to fix the problem, but after a while, it locks up again…has anyone figured out how to fix this?
Here’s what I was doing wrong. I was rendering out to video and then placing the video on the video timeline to view it without taking it off the timeline. Then when I would render again to make corrections it was would show the first the first frame of my video not the actual render. Simply moving the video solved the problem. There are probably better ways to handle it but that’s what I figured out first.
It was me… again

I don’t really understand what you mean by placing it in the video timeline…I am new to working with 2.5, so can you please explain how you fixed it? I know where the timeline is, but I didn’t know rendering one frame puts it on the timeline…where exactly is it and how do I move it?
Thanks
I was creating a video by clicking the animation render button instead of the single frame render button. I would then take this video and place it on the video timeline found in the screen layout drop down panel. The video was starting on the first frame and any F12 render would result in a render of that first frame. If your not doing videos this probably isn’t your solution but it might be something similar. When it happens again, back track your steps and see if you don’t have a rendered image loaded in somewhere fouling things up. Clear it and see if that doesn’t fix it. Good luck and have fun.
