Render result hidden while rendering next frame

Hello

When rendering an animation (I am using Eevee) I get a transparent render preview until the frame is rendered:

This is fine for rendering an image, as the render result is presented once the frame is rendered.
However, when rendering an animation, the render result is shown for a split second and then hidden as soon as the next frame starts rendering.

Being able to see what the frames look like while rendering saves a lot of time if you can see any errors before rendering the rest of the frames. Information like how long the frame took is also immediately hidden.

Is there a workaround to this behaviour?

Thank you

I tend to just keep an eye on the folder where the image sequence is written to. And set it to display large thumbnails.

@Janneman tried this out and it worked pretty well for me. I was rendering to ffmpeg - png rendering seems to be the way to go. Thanks!

Glad to hear it! I only render to a video file for playblasts. Image sequences are the industry standard.
