Hi everyone, Im new to Blender and I wanted to ask you if there is any way to render faster. I have done my first models with materials and textures and it takes alot to render 1 frame. My goal is to make animations with it. Is it my computer?. Is there anything I can change to it to make faster renders?
Thanks for the help.
Pd: Sorry for my bad english Im from Argentina
In lightpaths try setting the minimum bounces to 1. The maximum may also be lowered, ive seen some people lower it to 14 and the render still looked great.
No caustics can be ticked also for more speed.
make a comparison image to see if you’re happy with the quality.
As sono2000 pointed out, you can reduce the number bounces and such. The other option is to get more computing power. For caminandes 2, they actually farmed it out to the cloud…
Imag, what kind of system do you have?
May you look to a free render farm:
It is limited to 500 samples and 10 pictures per day, or so.
Cheers, mib.
