Render Z pass occurs yellowish image

Hi,

When I want to use Nodes for DOF it needs to use the Render Z pass option, as we know.
But if I turn it on, after a pass (after the first it is okay, the colours are correct) the image will be a yellow-ish shade (like a yellow lamp lights everything). :eek:
What causing this?

Thanks for helping.

Could you post up a render/screen shot? Are you letting it finish rendering all the way? Sometimes the images look strange while rendering, but get fixed up at the end.

Of course, here it is;

I honestly I don’t see any yellow color in the two renders. Maybe I’ve become color-blind or something or my monitor is not correctly calibrated. Even the vectorscope reveals only a tiny bit of yellow at a very low saturation which is probably due to the nature of the light you used in your render. Can you re-check how you illuminate your scene?

The only light is a Sunlight with 1.000 values (for all RGB) and Ambient is 0.300 (for all, too).
But why appears this yellowish shade only in Z pass?
Hmm… :-S

That’s weird.
Have you tried to reproduce it in a new file?

Hmm, hmmm…
I just made a new, basic scene (a box and a sphere - the same in the example above which were inserted into my problematic scene) with absolute “virgin” start, and it’s okay. No yellow shade with Z pass option…
Hmmm. So, something wrong in the scene… :-S

Anyway, thanks for your advice!

Edit:
Got it! It is causing the Sun’s Atmosphere option. Pff…
