Rendered view different from expected camera view

This is what I see in the viewport:

But this is what I get rendered:

Any help would be appreciated.

-in the viewport, press num-0 to see the camera view. Maybe the camera has strange settings (limit distance, long focal lenth, etc)
-Videosequencer: if there is a stip in the squencer, the rendering gets overwritten.
-compositor: wrong connected nodes (ie:alpha over)
-BlendRig? meshcage visible?
