Rendered World. In GameEngine.

Is there a way to like render the entire world with yafray. then using it for the gameengine. the lighting doesnt have to change realtime. because gameengine graphics looks not as polish as rendered images.

you could pre-render just about anything you like in Yafray and use it e.g. as textures in the GE. You could also think about using normal maps to increase the detail on low-poly models. But then again: you don’t want the differences in quality to be overwhelming. It’s better to go for a consistent look (even low-quality) over having Mario 1 running around in a Quake4 world, if you catch my drift :stuck_out_tongue:

Why don’t you try and explain what you’re trying to achieve and where yafray would come in?
