Hey,
I was wondering if it was possible to render a scene in perspective rather than the normal view of the camera (orthographic?). If so, how does one do that?
Thanks!

The default camera view is perspective, you can change between perspective and orthographic view in the camera properties
You can render the viewport using the OpenGL render button on the right hand side of the 3d view header. You can toggle between the 3d view being orthographic and perspective with Numpad 5 key of through the View menu
Thank you for the quick reply!
I couldn’t find the toggle in camera properties, could you be more clear please?
I understand that numpad 5 key can be used for toggling between the views and I don’t want to render my viewport. I want the final render of the scene to look as if it was from a perspective view (when you press 5) rather than the default one, orthographic.
Select the camera and in the camera settings you have the option of a Perpective, Orthographic or Perspective camera

When you render by pressing the render button or F12, you render through the active camera which by default is a perspective camera
Looks like you have a scroll bar on the right hand side of your screenshot, scroll it
You are also using the cycles render so some settings will be slightly different but you will still have the three camera types
Oh… I knew it was something stupid! :o
Thanks a lot! It was exactly what I needed. It seems like I confused perspective with orthographic, latter is the one I actually wanted.
For the orthographic camera the orthographic scale value is the width of the camera view http://www.blender.org/manual/render/cycles/camera.html?highlight=orthographic#orthographic

@Richard …sometimes I know why your a cyberman
