rendering opacity on softbody object


I am having problems rendering alpha settings on a softbody. everything else in my scene is rendering fine, but even though I’ve changed the alpha values in the material menu and the change is reflected in the preview, the bugger is rendering as solid. i have tried beating my head against the keyboard but this does not work. Can anyone help save my forehead?



Make sure you have hit the ZTransp button in the Materials window.
