Rendering problem... Need help


I am still new to Blender and dunno why those “black” areas appeared in render after I dublicated 1 of em.
It looks like there are multible meshes on top of eachothers even tho there are not.

Could use some ideas how to fix this asap.

You have overlapping faces.
Check again you have not duplicate objects
Select all vertices and remove any duplicate vertices (W / remove doubles)

I actually found the problem. The hood was mirrored and the loops around the hood were already mirrored and applied so removing half of the loop and mirroring whole thing again fixed the problem :slight_smile:
