Hello I’ve been learning Blender for a while now just experimenting and stuff, but I’ve come to a problem. I know how to add sound in the sequence editor but I don’t know how to render it with sound. I know how to render it to quicktime movies and that also. Thank you
The only format that Blender interlaces sound into is FFMPEG. Otherwise, you’ll have to add the sound in another program like Audacity or VirtualDub. There is a button, Mixdown in the Sound Subcontext (F10), that allows you to output a sound file alongside the animation, that has the timing you set up in the sequencer, if you decide to go with another format.
http://wiki.blender.org/index.php/Manual/Audio_Sequences
and i just updated the Output format page to include FFMPEG.
thanks guys
