It’s pretty common to render 30-60min for one frame in CG. Often more, especially in 1080p
But even if you cut it down to around 10 mins which I try for smaller projects, you still need ~5h for one second of animation.
There’s no way around a renderfarm. No tutorial will make one CPU calculate the render equations faster.
If one machine renders 1 Frame in 10 minutes, 10 machines render 10 frames in 10 minutes.
Naive fallacy.
Better start to billion-up.
The more machines you got, or rent, the faster it goes.
All the machines you don’t use for rendering, you can use to do other things in the meantime - obviously
I know it’s not ideal, but thats the point most blenderheads reach.
Game content creation, Stills, and playing around can be done in your parents basement, but if you want to go to movie/animation production… there’s no playing… you got to invest, do and achieve.
That or cut back in quality close to the point you start to weep.
there are quite a few render farms out there. might I suggest googling “blender render farm”? the most common free one that i know of is http://www.renderfarm.fi/ i haven’t used it and i’ve heard it has some reliability issues but i could be COMPLETELY wrong about that.
otherwise… you’ve got to pay to play for the most part.
