Rendering with textures

Hi everyone,

I’ve never actually figured out how to render with textures/color in Blender.
I’m using version 249.2.

I know how to use the render thing at the base of the 3d view, but that doesn’t work with what I’m trying to render.

I’m trying to render a model with a tree inside and the leaves still show up as black plane… (the black is not transparent).

How can I render this in Blender so that the black part for the leaves are transparent?

The leaf texture is a .PNG and it has M_(texture name) for it’s name.

Thanks,

Jon

Try this:
