renederd image levels low ?

Hi when I import a renderd still from blender into photo shop to adjust the levels there is very little data in the histogram is there any way of improving this, I have tried different file types and they are all the same , thanks in advance for any tips to resolve this problem

Depends on what the image shows. A black ball in a coal cellar at night won’t be quite the same as a child wearing a rainbow coloured shirt at a fairground on a sunny summer afternoon.

Thanks for the heads up, I loaded in a color rich background image for a render and there was more info in the levels.
