I’m new to blender and like many others, following a tutorial on making something. I took on a somewhat advanced task and decided to follow this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oGGaKnFbK8o “Creating an island environment in Blender”, thinking I would pick up lots of things as I go. It is working very well I’m learning lots of stuff… Anyways to the point:
At first, it messed up in my texturemap I made for the island. It wasn’t a great deal I managed to fix it, although I had to re-do the texturemap from scratch.
Now however, I had made a texturemap to be shallow water around the island with little breakers and such. Made it look decent at least I was satisfied, this was attatched to a plane mesh.
When I load the scene, this texturemap is pitch black… I bet I’ve just made some rookie mistake that’s piece of cake to fix, but can someone tell me what? Also, is this plane supposed to be on the exact same coordinates as the original oceanplane, or above or below?
Thanks in advance:)
