Replacement for ".setVisibile()"

Hi again!
Does anybody know a replacement for “.setVisible()”?
This would help to create big levels without an unplayable gamespeed.

Make a mesh with a single face, and set it to invisible in the paint buttons. Name it something appropriate, like blank.

Use a replace mesh actuator to switch between the invisible plane, and the object’s origional mesh.
