replaceMesh() in 2.46

Hi, I have meshes that I want to replace during the game, in 2.45 it works fine, but in 2.46 when the meshes are replaced the new mesh is not properly attached to the bone system…and is totally squeezed and bend unnaturally.
How to fix this…do I need to reattach all meshes to the bones again in 2.46 or something else?

check that the scale and rotation are applied in both meshes
