idk where you’re getting “roolback” from after I just explained proper detection can be used to detect if something like DX12 has been hacked into XP.
(I’m doing this very thing for quite a few programs of mine.)
there’s also the option of an alternate build for WinXP.
don’t forget, there’s alot of stuff XP can be made to support, including the Vulkan API.
that’s pretty much what linux is right… except not discontinued.
really dude, if you’re gonna mock me, at least use the N64
but even still, that’s a difference in hardware support…
WinXP is completely legit on that standpoint.
we just need unofficial driver developers like Linux has.
Hi, it make really no sense to discuss this further, XP support will never be happen again.
Blender use a lot of external resources like Python, OCIO, OIIO and a lot more.
Most of them has kicked XP support one or two years ago, this was the major reason Blender Foundation stop XP support.
Blender itself may still run on XP but you cant use Cycles without OCIO color management, kick all addons based on latest Python or rewrite them …
and so forth, and so forth.
