Rescaling animated armature?

Hello, I would would like to rescale an armature but when I do the bones won’t stay in proportion to one another. is there a way I can fix this?

You haven’t described how you are scaling the armature… in edit mode? Pose mode? Object mode? I would try selecting the mesh, and ctrl-A->apply scale, then ctrl-a->apply rotation first with the armature in object mode, repeat this for the mesh in object mode. This merely resets the scale and rot of the objects. Then scale the armature in object mode. Then repeat the ctrl-a process for both the armature and mesh in object mode.

Kinda vague question lacking details, if this doesn’t work, post up a .blend file…
