im going to try to explain this the best i can. i used physics to make some objects drop and i assigned it to the frames, i have the frame i want to render but i want to make it frame 1 for these items in their positions because i want to use fluid sim too and i dont want them interfering with eachother.
Grab the appropriate IPO curves and move the frame you want to be at frame 1 to frame 1 for each object in your scene . Or if you have too many objects to do this easily, go to the time line and change the start time to the frame you want the animation to begin at . If you do the latter when you start the fluid sim remember to offset the bake start/end times accordingly .
