Today I started working inside the mine.
I started by making the cart for mining extraction and I also started making the rails.
Tomorrow I hope I have finished all the preparation that makes up the mine and then add some accessories.
I’ve been spending too much time with my head in the clouds
I’ve mentioned the current issues in this thread were we are discussing about Eevee clouds.
I’m trying everything, even converting VDBs clouds to geometry using the new Blender modifier that does just that:
Today I started what will be, a new challenge for me.
Rogério gave me the task of making several characters to put in the city.
I started by elaborating the blacksmith’s sketch, after researching several references.
It will be new for me because I don’t have much experience modeling in characters … but I will work hard!
Today I bring you the final sketch of who will be the village blacksmith.
As it will be a new experience, it will take me some time to finish modeling the character.
I will start, then, on Saturday.
I wish you all a good start for the year to come, and may it be a year in which hope and faith, hope that better times will come!
This comes with complete day to night cycle and built in moon and even optional planet.
Also a very important thing to have in mind, the magic of 3DVision, the creator of Pure-Sky, is so strong that the volumetric clouds aren’t bounded by a domain object as such they can be visible in all the 44000 meters of the Resilience Satelle world!
…Hands down, this is the best complete sky system available for Eevee today!
…so now what, I had this all set up for “Real-Sky” (light values and emission materials had to be all 100 times stronger), so it will be a big investment to make the switch for “Pure-Sky”… but yeah! I’m going to make the switch! … Specially because 3DVision just keeps improving it
So today I started modeling on a character, which will be, the blacksmith.
I’m going very slowly, always under the supervision of the big boss Rogerio Perdiz , because as I mentioned, I’m not very experienced in this type of modeling. So far, I don’t encounter any major difficulties, so I’m satisfied with how it’s going.
Monday I will continue.
I hope you like it! Any comment is welcome, feel free.
Best regards,
Rute Perdiz
This project is great, I really like it, I’m really glad I didn’t give up the development of Pure-Sky and this is also thanks to your encouragement, thanks again.
Resilience Satelle is going to be full 3D (stereoscopic), so, at this moment you’re the only one that actually made it possible with Pure-Sky 3.0 is not only like an HDRi image, but it really fills in the space
This version also is well structured and all options are clear to work with. Besides that your Lens Flares are spot on! I just love them!
Thank you very much for not giving up! You’re awesome!
Hey there @thecreatorverse!
Thanks! Yeah, we had similar projects in the past from clients, so although massive indeed I know that it can be achieved… I just can’t say nothing about the time it will take! … Well, with a budget it would be possible to make it for Xmas I have many planned ideas for securing one this year
By the way, considering the promotion you’ve been doing for Pure-Sky since the beginning, I wanted to offer you an affiliate link, if you’re interested send me an email address you use with the Blender Market.
Thanks once again! I’ve also noted the RS island render on thePure-Sky page , thank you very much!
The link is already on the 1st post, under the “sponsors” zone… but if you would like to have your logo instead of the text, send it to my e-mail that I’ll use it instead
Today I managed to make the collar that the character has on his neck, the scarf on his head and the boots.
Tomorrow I will make some adjustments to some things and move on to the gloves, then start putting on the rest of the accessories.
Today I managed to model the bag to put it on the belt. It is a very simple bag but I really liked the final result.
I also added the missing buckles and the knot in the scarf on the head.
Tomorrow I will do the rest of the details and then move on to the next stage and finally start painting the textures.
