Hello friends!
Today I got the chance to work a bit on finalizing the shaders for Moget…
…the head at least is complete! What do you consider!? Looks pleasant!? :slight_smile:

Moget is 100% updated for Eevee Next, ready for Blender 4.3 and future Blender versions.

  • Has only one material;
  • Uses a single 8K color atlas, 100% hand painted by @Rute_Perdiz;
  • Most color channels info come from Vertex Paint;

Other excellent news is that after almost 10 years since it was made by Juan Pablo Bouza, the rig (which is a custom implementation of Blenrig) still works totally fine. Everything still working perfectly well :smiley:

Yeah, I’d love to see him in motion too! I’m currently on a short vacation for just two days, but I’ll be back to work tomorrow. Otherwise, I would’ve whipped up a teaser animation.

When you’re young, you have all the time in the world but not much else. Once you get older, you have everything but time! :smile:

Hi guys!

Lately, I’ve been working, together with Rogério Perdiz, on developing a new friend for our story.
Her name will be Stella, a fox who will appear and spark some curiosity.
For now, I’ll leave you with just a small glimpse of her… but tomorrow, I will reveal more!

Hi guys!!

I’m still working on developing the appearance of our new character.
Character modeling isn’t the easiest thing for me yet, but with some help, we’ve managed to give her a bit of “wilder” hair to make her look more like a girl.

Right now, I’m focused on figuring out the details of the inside of her mouth, which still needs some work. I’m hoping to get that part done by tomorrow.
Once the physical features are finished, I’ll move on to designing her clothing.

I’m aiming to follow our reference closely to capture every possible detail from the sketch.
I’m still fine-tuning the coat, so I’ll likely continue working on it on Monday.

On my end I’m improving Noam shaders! It will take a while but it’s going!

Hi guys!

Today, I focused on refining the finer details of the clothing.
I began by organizing the geometry of each piece, combining elements where possible to streamline the next steps.
As I go along, I’ll continue to define the shapes and accessories, simplifying and cleaning up the geometry.

I’ll pick up where I left off tomorrow!

Today, I continued working on refining some geometry on the coat to add more volume. I also started detailing the shoulder pads, studying a fit that would adapt well in that area… and that’s how it turned out. It looks pretty good, doesn’t it?

I also started working on the shoes and managed to shape the basic form, which I’ll continue refining.
