Restaurant bathroom (Luxrender)

Here is a bathroom for a restaurant project. Modeling in blender, rendering with luxrender 1.0 (my first serious render with it :D), sppm default settings , i tried cycles but was not good for this kind of interior, too much fireflies also after long time(or is me that don’t know how to correctly setup?) edited in gimp just to remove 5-6 fireflies. Ies file for the lamps created with creator ies and textures from cgtextures,arroway.

modeling looks reasonably realistic, but the lighting looks oddly harsh…

Cycles is not good for this type of lighting, since it only uses forward pathtracing, so this was not a mistake on your part.

You re right about the light, after some test renderings i increased a bit the gain of the lamp on the ceiling(not directly visible here) but evidently is not enough…
