I’m sure this has been asked before, but I’m not sure what topic to find it under. When a mesh object is created in Blender there are parameters for altering it under the section on the left-hand side. For instance, if I were to add a UV sphere, there would be a section entitled Add UV Sphere followed by Segments, Rings, Size, and so on. Now if I go to edit mode and return to object mode (or deselect all) the panel is gone and there is instead Toggle Editmode. I wanted to know how to get the previous menu back. I’m sure it’s something simple I’m missing.
I’m using version 2.76 currently. Thanks in advance!
Thanks for getting back to me! I was trying to learn how to do a realistic tree in Blender using the Sapling add-on when I got curious about how the branches would look in edit mode. This, of course, got rid of the parameters in object mode which meant deleting and redoing it all over since I’ve no clue (yet) if there’s some other way of doing the leaves, pruning and so on once those options are no longer readily available.
Doesn’t the sapling addon allow you to save presets. That means you should be able to reload the saved tree for further editing without having to re-enter the initial settings
I don’t see anything like that and, like I said, I’m just now learning how to do it, so I’m not sure where it is. It could be that as I learn more about it I’ll find where I can save the presets. I’ll look for information about that here in the forum and online. Thank you again for helping!
