- I can’t seem to understand what I am doing wrong here. My mesh seems to be sticking to my base body and i dont know how to fix it so that I can extrude it along the body.
The sticking to the base mesh is due to the fact you have a Shrinkwrap modifier attached to the head mesh which makes it conform to the mesh of the Body object. Just disable the viewport appearance. If that’s what you mean? :
Also. To accomplish the same thing as the Shrinkwrap modifier, you can also make use of the Face Nearest
snap setting as shown in the video below. (Delete or disable the Shrinkwrap mod and try this method to see how that works. Also, to work with snapping, you can either turn snapping on altogether (Shift-Tab) - or - have it disabled and instead use the CTR
modifier key to initiate momentary snapping. Which is the method I prefer, but it’s subjective of course.)
Hi. Your video gives me this message:
Might be wise to use a codec everyone else has…
It may be a DRM issue…
Thanks for the headsup! I’m using Bandicam and this codec. Might be good for other users to know that this codec doesn’t seem to work on the site:
Converted the video above with Bandicut and this codec, which seems to work (not sure if it’s the FPS or the HEVS codec tho):
Edit: Oddly, the faulty codec did work on iPhone and Opera…
Excellent Info for people - and its working for me now. And I am Linux / Firefox, so not working happens a bit…
