Retopology in blender

I love how quickly you can do it in blender using the shrinkwrap and bridge edge loops tools. Only issue I’ve got is when you’ve got to do things manually, you can see the vertexes behind the model as well when you turn on see through. It would be nice to if there was an option to see only the faces you’re working with and not the ones on the other side of the model. Is there such an option?

Backface culling?

i suggest not using the “xray” tool as most people use. i find it really obnoxious.

give the hi and low poly meshes two different materials with different colors, that way you can also easily see where you need to add more geometry, cause the two models will be clipping through each other. some see this as annoying, i take advantage of it.
