Ahh good times. I had a Spectrum too (but never played Chuckie Egg). I actually recently got back into Z80 programming on a Spectrum emulator

I have a ZX Spectrum 16K (first year, early model), a ‘Toast rack’ 128K ZX Spectrum, and a Harlequinn ZX Spectrum Clone.

Currently trying to fix the original 2 Spectrums. Started this week, coincidentally.
