rigged tank tracks in blender game engine, how to make them work?

hi there, i have a tank model complete with tracks that i rigged following this tutorial (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LovMyPoW6Ko),  i parented the "hull" cube to the tank mesh which i then added a simple  motion logic bricks set to, expecting it to make the tank tracks and wheels  roll.....which it didnt (only when moving/rotating the object in 3d view). i was wondering if anyone can suggest how i  would get them to move/roll in bge, or if i can at all? i was also wondering if it was just a case of attaching a a script to the bezier curve similar to the script used in this car https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e0wnBjv4ZLw
