the problem is in order to get the black outline like i did i used a duplicated mesh with inverted normals and a shadeless black color and backface culling enabled. this obviously presents problems with rigging this character. so how should i go about it? i have my own ideas but i wanted to get a more experienced users input as i am still fairly new to rigging.
If you want a quick result, the simplest is to use rigify for the rig and freestyle for the black outline (2 meshes isn’t a good idea). Look tutorials on the net…
