Rigging a mesh with hair particles?

Okay first off I’ve not done this before and I’m using 2.55 on this project. Basically I’ve got a head mesh with hair particles on it and I can’t figure out how I can rig the mesh and have the hair particles move with it when I move the bones. I don’t want to do any animation I just want to do posing.

I think you’ve got to move your amature modifier over the particle one.
