What I’m trying to do is rig a rubber type object so that it “squishes” when the robot’s head pops up and down. I’ve tried for awhile now and have also searched the web with no success. So does anybody know the best way to do this?
Which part is rubber there? You can usually use a bone that has a stretch to constraint point to the bone that is at the ‘head’ , so when you grab the head bone the rubber area ‘stretches’ to the head bone… but I am only guessing, since I am not sure of what you mean with your model there.
The rubber part is the ribbed object. I will try out your suggestion, thanks.
You might try a lattice also
