Rigging AND Weighting tutorial request

Anyone know of a good thorough rigging tutorial (online) that doesn’t just deal with attaching bones to a mesh and attaching IK Constraints but also shows how to weight paint correctly or attach vertex groups to bones?

I have tried to learn by ‘backward engineering’ models from BlenderSwap but can’t really figure it out. Some of the models don’t even include many bones but the deformations are so smooth.

I found it extremely helpfull, because he is going through the whole process of character creation including rigging and weight painting (plus facial expressions).
