I am making a pair of arms for my son’s game making project. He is currently making an FPS style game in Unity and I want to make one, or two pairs of arms to sit on the camera. I’m considering making a lower poly/bone version without animatable fingers, but as it stands I have this: Which has 36 deformer bones, one master bone, and 752 polygons, all quads. There are no constraints as yet. What I want to ask is what is the best practices for making a pair of arms like this for export to unity? Is the poly and bone count reasonable? How should I rig the fingers? How should I proceed? Cheers, Stuart
