I checked and checked but can not find how to attach so when I put bones on the body, the armor move along with the mesh…sorry, I looked and looked in utube tuts, but they stop short of saying how to make the armor move along.
In general, you build your armor with the same topology as the base model then you weight paint the armor the same as the base model and make the armor a child of the armature. That way went you move the armature, it moves the character and the armor in the same way.
Oh, I see, the child relationship will move the armor without deforming it while the weight painting of the flesh will deform it, right??
