Hi. I’m fairly new to blender and just starting out with animating.
I have a college project to work on, but I’m having trouble getting objects to interact with each other to my satisfaction.
I’m animating a simple scene of an egg rolling out of a tree. All I want to do is have my active mesh (egg) roll smoothly against my passive mesh (tree). But when I apply active and passive sets to my meshes the egg goes flying or bouncing off the tree and the egg stays completely rigid. Am I doing something wrong? I tried searching the forum but I’m unsure of the terminology to use.
If you supply a link to a demo blend file I’m sure someone could look at it for you to find the cause of your problem.
You can upload a blend file to http://www.pasteall.org/blend/ and reply with the download link
It would definitely be wise to post a blend file. RB settings are tricky. But something you always should do is make sure that you have applied scale to all your objects, both passive and active. It also helps to model them in real world scale.
