Rigid Body Simulation stops if i expand the animation time

If i try to expand the length of time in my animation after i create a rigid body simulation, it freezes after it reaches the original end of the animation. is there a way to update the simulation to comtinue to the end of the animation?

In the Scene property panel, change the End of the Rigid Body Cache to the frame you want.

You will have to change the cache frames as well (under “Rigid Body Cache”) to match the number you’re using in the animation timeline. The default for both is 250 … so, if you change the animation length to 300 then you must change the “Rigid Body Cache” steps to 300, also.
