Rigid body with fluid simulation

Hello blender community, my name is Christopher.
Am trying to make a simple scene animation where a jar breaks and the fluid in it splash out of it. I have used cell fracture to shatter the jar, but I cant simulate the fluid with the shattered jar, the fluid simply neglects the shattered jar, I have made the shattered jar an Effector = collision , but still the fluid neglects it.
Any one with a tip or guidance I will very much appreciate it.
