Rigify + importing BVH mocap data doesn't work

Hi! I rigged a character with the rigify addon. Added a human metarig, edited it to fit my mesh. Then generated the rig, parented it with auto weights.

What am i doing wrong?

I am currently trying it too… Its not really working on my side too…

It has something to do with the bone orientation of the mocap and rigify and so on…

I haven’t experimented with Rigify + Mocap yet but from what I know it’s not very straightforward to setup.
Can you describe your workflow a bit? It’s not quite clear where mocap comes into play.

Basically you transform the mocap to the rigify rig to easier adjust it. Of course the animations when transmitted to the rigify rig has to be decimated to be easier to handle. The best would be to get the ik handles to work but i could only get the fks to work. Most of the time a scene needs multiple animations and when you can have a jump start for basic things like walking and only have to animate the rest it should look better in the end since you had more time to do it… Except that its such a pain to transport these animations…
